We’re a referral service, not a restumping business
House Restumping Geelong (houserestumpinggeelong.com) is a referral service run by Vertial Holdings Pty Ltd (ABN 72 629 494 926). We don’t do restumping, reblocking or underpinning, and we don’t employ restumpers, builders or engineers. We’re not the Building and Plumbing Commission (BPC), and we’re not connected with the City of Greater Geelong or Surf Coast Shire.
When you send the form or call us, we take down your enquiry. If you agree, we pass it to one independent restumper registered with the BPC who works in your area. That restumper contacts you, inspects, quotes, and does the work. Your contract for the work is with that restumper.
How we’re paid
Restumpers pay us for the enquiries we send them. That can be a fee for each enquiry, or a monthly fee to receive the enquiries for an area. You don’t pay us anything, and the restumper’s price to you is its own.
Because we’re paid by the restumpers we refer to, we have a commercial relationship with them. We don’t receive any payment that depends on what you decide to buy.
How we check restumpers
Before we refer anyone to a restumper, we check its registration on the BPC’s public register and record the registration number and class. You can check it yourself on the BPC’s public register.
Our phone line
Calls to our number are answered by a virtual assistant, not a person, and calls are recorded. The assistant tells you this at the start of the call. It takes your details and asks whether you agree to us passing them to a registered local restumper. It doesn’t give prices or timeframes, and it can’t tell you what’s wrong with your house.
The information on this site
The information on this site is general. Where we state a rule or a fact, we link to the source. We don’t publish prices. A registered restumper, or an engineer, should assess your house.
If a site is operated for a specific business
If this site ever sends all enquiries to one named business, we’ll show that business’s name and its BPC registration number on every page.
