About our referral service
If you’re unhappy with how we handled your enquiry or your information, email hello@houserestumpinggeelong.com with:
- your name and the number you called from or gave us
- roughly when you contacted us
- what went wrong, and what you’d like us to do
We’ll acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 15 business days. If it will take longer, we’ll tell you why.
If a restumper we referred you to doesn’t respond, or behaves in a way you think is wrong, tell us. We’ll look into it, and we stop referring to restumpers that don’t treat people properly.
About the restumping work
The restumper you were referred to is responsible for its work. Raise any problem with it first, and put your concerns in writing so you have a record.
If that doesn’t resolve it, Consumer Affairs Victoria explains the next steps for a building dispute. You can apply for dispute resolution through the Building and Plumbing Commission (BPC), which now includes Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV). It resolves building disputes without the cost and time often associated with courts and tribunals (Consumer Affairs Victoria; Apply to DBDRV).
For other consumer problems, contact Consumer Affairs Victoria.
About your personal information
