This policy covers House Restumping Geelong (houserestumpinggeelong.com), run by Vertial Holdings Pty Ltd (ABN 72 629 494 926). We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
When you send the form or call us, we collect:
- your name and mobile number
- your suburb, and your address if you give it
- what you’re seeing (for example sloping floors, sticking doors or cracks), which rooms, and when you noticed it
- the type of house and roughly how old it is, if you know
- whether you own or rent the house
- whether the house is in a heritage overlay, if you know
- whether you agree to us passing your details to a restumper
- for calls: a recording and a written transcript of the call
We also collect basic website statistics: pages viewed, the website that sent you here, browser and device type, and approximate location (country and city). They’re collected without cookies and don’t identify you. We run the statistics tool ourselves, and this site doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we collect it
To pass your enquiry to one registered local restumper who can help, to keep a record of the referrals we make, and to bill the restumpers we refer to.
Who we share it with
One restumper, only with your permission. We ask before we pass anything on. We don’t pass your details to more than one restumper for the same enquiry, and we never sell them to marketing lists.
Service providers that run our systems. These include our website host, email provider, phone provider and virtual-assistant provider. Some are based in, or store information in, the United States. They handle your information only to provide their service to us.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
If we can’t place your enquiry with a restumper, we tell you and delete your details within 14 days. If we do place it, we keep a record of the referral, including any call recording, for up to 2 years so we can resolve disputes and bill correctly. Then we delete it.
Your choices
You can say no to us sharing your details. If you do, we can’t refer you, and we’ll delete what you gave us.
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email hello@houserestumpinggeelong.com. We’ll reply within 30 days.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, email us first and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

We’ll update this page if our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
